Sweet Smell of Victory
On September 25, 1999, the 9th Circuit affirmed a lower court holding that Network Solutions (“NSI”), a prominent domain name registration company, cannot be liable for contributory infringement by merely allowing infringing Internet domains to be registered through its system.
